PA Speed Calc 2023.2

PA Speed Calc is a tool designed to calculate the fine amounts for different sections of a Pennsylvania Traffic Citation under PA Title 75 (Vehicle Code) § 3362 Maximum Speeds based on the speed limit and driver speed input. The application features a built-in reference copy of § 3362 for convenient access during traffic stops. Developed by a Pennsylvania law enforcement officer, this app offers users functionality to customize their citation processing.

Enabling the Double Fines option effectively doubles the fine imposed, while disabling the Costs option sets the cost amount to $0.00. This feature proves useful when issuing multiple citations simultaneously to a single defendant, and the speeding violation does not include associated costs.

By default, if the user does not adjust the yearly costs for Pennsylvania Traffic Citations in the application settings, it will assume the standard amount of $45.50 for 2023. However, users have the flexibility to modify this value for future years such as 2024 and beyond at their discretion.
